The fourth main installment of the Persona series, created by Atlus, Persona 3 Reload is a remake of 2006’s Persona 3.
The story of Persona 3 Reload unfolds the same way it did in the original game, as the protagonist, a high school student, returns to his hometown a decade after his parents were killed in a fatal car crash. He soon gains the potential to summon a Persona, the physical manifestation of his inner spirit, and joins the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad (S.E.E.S.), a group of like-minded Persona users tasked with defeating Shadows and uncovering the mystery of the Dark Hour.
The game was released for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on Feb. 2, 2024, while the title’s Nintendo Switch 2 port is slated for release on Oct. 23, 2025.
Notably, in 2024, Persona 3 Reload received an “Award for Excellence” at the Japan Game Awards.
As of the time of writing, the game has an “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating on Steam with 30,745 reviews and an all-time peak of 45,002 players, according to Steam DB.
