Farming Simulator 25 became the first title to join Xbox Game Pass in the last month of summer 2025.
The game became available on PC, Xbox Cloud, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S for members of Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Standard and PC Game Pass on Aug. 1, 2025.
Developed and published by Giants Software, Farming Simulator 25 was launched on Nov. 12, 2024, becoming the eighth major installment in the series, which also has five mobile titles in addition to the console/PC main series.
As of the time of writing, Farming Simulator 25 has a “Very Positive” rating on Steam with 23,269 reviews and an all-time peak of 135,970 players, according to SteamDB.
Notably, the game’s developer, Giants Software, established an esports league in 2019, which sees about a dozen teams competing, many of which are sponsored by farming equipment companies. Instead of running a farm like in the main game series, the competitions are 3v3 matches to obtain the highest score of hay bales dropped off within a given time limit.
