Ready or Not sold over 2 million copies on consoles just two weeks after it landed on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on July 15, 2025, according to an official announcement on the game’s official X (formerly Twitter) account.
As of July 31, 2025, Ready or Not, developed and published by VOID Interactive, has crossed 11 million copies sold across all platforms, just ten days after surpassing its first 10 million copies sold overall.
Notably, while the tactical first-person shooter was initially launched on Steam on Dec. 13, 2023, it also dropped on the Epic Games Store simultaneously with the console release.
Ready or Not is set in the crime-ridden streets of Los Sueños. The game allows players to assume the roles of elite SWAT operators facing bomb threats, hostage rescues, armed standoffs, and other daily duties typical of a police tactical unit.
As of the time of writing, the game has an all-time peak of 55,174 concurrent players, according to SteamDB, and a “Mostly Positive” rating on Steam with 220,053 reviews. It is worth noting that on July 31, 2025, Ready or Not had 30,928 “Mostly Negative” recent reviews on Steam from PC players due to backlash from the PC gaming community related to the in-game content tone softening implemented by the developer in order to release the game on consoles.
