Rainbow Six Siege X Debuts Japanese-Themed Event: Rengoku

|
- Rainbow Six Siege X has debuted a Japanese-themed event called Rengoku.
- The event pits players against one another in a modified version of Skyscraper.
- Rainbow Six Siege X is a major update that came to Rainbow Six Siege on June 10.
Starting from July 30 until Aug. 13, Rainbow Six Siege X players have the chance to participate in the game’s newest event, Rengoku. Several Operator bundles are also going to be introduced in the store for players to collect.
Rengoku pits players against one another in a modified version of Skyscraper, where they are separated into two groups of five and have to capture ancient altars. Players win the game by completing the objective or eliminating their opponents.
Additionally, players will also share the same shotgun loadout but will have the option to choose what kind of kunai they want to take with them. The event’s gameplay trailer showed two kunais, healing and freeze, which both do what their names imply.
As expected of events similar to this, there will be bundles available for purchase. A signature bundle will also be available. There will also be Rengoku Collection Packs for players to open and unlock individual items from the bundles; however, there will be no duplicates from these packs. The collection also comes with a limited-time Masterpiece F36C Memento, a weapon for Ash and Iana.
Those who don’t want to spend money can unlock Fuze and Osa bundles for free. Simply do the weekly challenges and hop on some Rainbow Six Siege X streams to be able to get some Twitch drops.
Rainbow Six Siege X is the improved version of Rainbow Six Siege. The rename came after the June 10 update, which saw improvements on some of the game’s mechanics. The game was initially released in 2015.
