Hitman: Absolution was initially developed by IO Interactive, having made its initial debut on Nov. 20, 2012, on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. The mobile ports and Switch iterations are being handled by Feral Interactive, a studio with a strong history of bringing games from the Hitman series to new platforms. The studio previously ported Hitman: Blood Money to mobile platforms and the Nintendo Switch. Hitman: Absolution will cost $14.99 on iOS and $13.49 on Google Play devices. The title sold around 3.6 million copies, according to Polygon.
The title follows Agent 47, who was branded a traitor and is being hunted by the Agency he once served. Within the game, the player traverses elaborate environments using both quick thinking and patient planning, rewarding stealth gameplay while simultaneously allowing for guns to go blazing.
