Quaratine Zone: The Last Check has been wishlisted over 1 million times on Steam; the title is scheduled to be released in November 2025, with publishing being handled by Devolver Digital. Devolver Digital announced its involvement on July 25, 2025, deciding to handle the publishing after the demo of the title became a viral hit, receiving glowing reviews and trending on social media, according to PC Gamer.
Brigada Games, the developer of indie title Quarantine Zone: The Last Check, posted on social media that the title received over 1.5 million demo players. Despite still being only available via demo, the game received various updates and developer blogs communicating with the player base. The developers have released roadmaps for the upcoming months, debuting various gameplay improvements.
The game’s setting takes place in a zombie apocalypse simulator, where the user plays as a fed in charge of deciding who is granted entry into the safety net. The player uses UV flashlights, thermometers, and manual scanners to search for signs of infection among people looking for safety within a city crawling with zombies.
As of writing, the single-player title has over 2,600 reviews on Steam with an overall “Very Positive” review standing. The exact release date for the title is not yet known, but it is scheduled to release in November 2025.
