Spin-off to the free-to-play wave-based Web3 roguelite Masks of the Void: Infinity, Masks of the Void: Origins got an official Steam page, as was announced by the game’s developer via a post on X (formerly Twitter).
As of the time of writing, developed by Rolldbox Games and published by Forthright Entertainment, the game cites a ‘Coming Soon’ disclaimer as its release date on its Steam page.
Masks of the Void: Origins will allow players to assume the role of a young woman, Iret. The story will unfold as Iret tries to save her Boreal Island from the realm-eating, god-like being known as the Neverending Night. Guided by her adopted father, Dr. Herdesett, Iret will gain access to the Sand Masks, granting her the power of the Void, which will allow her to prevent the end of the world.
The upcoming title will feature telekinesis-based bullet heaven gameplay and three different classes.

For optimal performance, the game is recommended to run on Windows 11, with 16 GB of RAM and at least 15 GB of available storage space. It also suggests using a system with an Intel i7-11800H CPU and an Nvidia RTX 3070 GPU with 8 GB of VRAM.
