Killing Floor 3 Launches Worldwide and Reveals 2025/2026 Roadmap

Survival horror Killing Floor 3 launched globally on July 24, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Xbox Series X|S.
Notably, a day before release, the successor to 2016’s Killing Floor 2, built on Unreal Engine 5, launched, it received a roadmap for the first year, which was published on the title’s official Steam page.

In the roadmap, game’s developer and publisher Tripwire Interactive hints at the upcoming new weapons and mods for them, addition of the new Prison map, and new specialist DJ Scully till the end of 2025, while in 2026 the game will receive two more new maps starting with Research Base, a new enemy type, and a new boss.
Killing Floor 3 allows players to assume the role of a Nightfall specialist tasked with eliminating hordes of zombie-like bioengineered creatures known as Zeds, either solo or in co-op with up to five teammates.
As of May 2019, the Killing Floor series had sold more than 10 million copies combined.
