- For Honor is introducing a new character, Virtuosa, to the game.
- She will be available on July 24, 2025.
- For Honor is a melee-centric multiplayer game from Ubisoft.
On July 23, For Honor uploaded a video showcasing the next character joining its roster, Virtuosa. This is the game’s first character who uses a rapier, but not the first one using a fencing-like playstyle.
The trailer shows the duelist’s elegant moves and upbeat personality while she slashes her way through her opponents. She’s also seen to be quite the nimble fighter, dodging enemy slashes by swaying her body instead of moving out of the way.
Virtuosa is going to be released as a member of the Outlanders faction. Fighters under this banner come from different parts of the world. Pirates, Aztecs and Mongolian fighters are part of this faction. Not much is known about Virtuosa’s background, however. She will be available on July 24, 2025.
For Honor is Ubisoft’s attempt at making a multiplayer game with a heavy emphasis on melee fighting. Players take control of a hero of their choice from five different factions: Knight, Samurai, Viking, Wu Lin and Outlanders. There are no ranged weapons in this game, which forces players to fight each other in close combat.
The game was released in 2017 for the PlayStation 4, PC and Xbox One. It has since expanded to include the next generation of consoles. At Gamescom 2016, it won “Best PC Game” and “Best PlayStation 4 Game.” It was even nominated as the “Best Action Game” at the same awards ceremony.
