Battlefield 6 is scheduled for release on October 10, 2025, according to a report from Insider Gaming, which cites dataminer billbil-kun as the main source of the leak.
The upcoming first-person shooter will be the thirteenth installment in the Battlefield series, following 2021’s Battlefield 2042, which received its last piece of post-launch content, titled Turning Point, on March 19, 2024.
It is already known that the new Battlefield will be released on Windows PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Published by Electronic Arts, Battlefield 6 is developed by four studios, DICE, Ripple Effect, Notive, and Criterion, under the umbrella of the Battlefield Studios brand.
The first installment of the franchise, Battlefield 1942, was released for Windows and macOS (OS X at that time) PCs in 2002. Since then, the series has sold 88.7 million copies worldwide, according to the latest estimates dated November 2022.
