Monster Hunter Wilds Celebrates Summer With New Festival of Accord Event

|
- Monster Hunter Wilds is celebrating summer through a new seasonal event called Flamefete.
- The event will run from July 23 to Aug. 6.
- Monster Hunter Wilds is Capcom’s fastest-selling game.
On July 22, Monster Hunter Wilds published a post on X talking about the game’s upcoming seasonal event called the Festival of Accord: Flamefete. The seasonal event will be available from July 23 to Aug. 6.
Participating in the event rewards players with summer-themed equipment and cosmetic gear. Additionally, players will receive free content. This includes a summer-themed Seikret, new outfits for Gemma and Erik and many more. Throughout the season event, players will also be able to use Fabius as a support hunter.
The video accompanying the post also showed players shooting each other with water guns, with Palicos even participating in it. The developers did not reveal how players can get these, but there is a possibility that it might be a premium emote that players have to buy from the store with real money.
Monster Hunter Wilds’ Grand Hub is also going to be transformed to better fit a summer-themed event. There will be beach balls scattered around the place, and some infernal-looking Palicos are also seen walking around the vicinity.
The game also seems to be going back to its roots of providing players with funny weapons, as a corn-on-a-stick Gunlance weapon has been showcased in the video.
Monster Hunter Wilds is an action RPG developed by Capcom. It was released on Feb. 25, 2025. While it is considered Capcom’s fastest-selling game, Monster Hunter Wilds is currently suffering from bad reviews and harassment due to the game’s performance on PC. Quite recently, Capcom had to cancel a lecture, presumably due to this reason.
