- Marvel Snap is introducing a new limited-time game mode called Grand Arena
- Players will be able to choose their champions and pick a prebuilt deck or make their own.
- The event will be available on July 25 and end on Aug. 8.
On July 22, Marvel Snap announced a new limited-time game mode entering the game called the Grand Arena. According to the developers, players will be able to choose from eight champions, each of them having their own prebuilt decks.
At the start of the match, players will immediately have their champion and its signature skill card in hand. Additionally, each game starts with two energy instead of one. The player who controls two locations at the end of six rounds will be the winner.
If players don’t want to use the prebuilt decks provided, they have the option to create a custom deck. However, these cards are banned from being used in the game mode:
- Champion Cards on decks other than their own
- Gorgon
- Spider-Ham
- Galactus
- Mr. Negative
- Black Bolt
- Nimrod
- Living Tribunal
- Mobius M. Mobius
- Professor X
- Wiccan
- Kang
Each match of Grand Arena consumes a ticket. If the player wins, they obtain Glory, XP and an Arena ticket, essentially refunding the entry cost. A tie and a loss will consume the ticket and only give half the Glory and XP. The developers will also introduce an event pass reward track along with the event.
Grand Arena will be implemented in Marvel Snap on July 25 and exit on Aug. 8, 2025. Players have two weeks to be able to finish the pass. With the update, the developers are also introducing two new cards: Mole Man and Mad Thinker.
