Hell Clock, a roguelike ARPG, launched for Windows PC via Steam on July 22, 2025.
Developed by Rogue Snail and published by Mad Mushroom, the game’s Steam page declares that the title is a dark fantasy twist on a historical event from the 19th century known as the War of Canudos.
In the game, players assume control of Pajeú, a warrior aiming to rescue the soul of his fallen mentor, known as The Counselor.
Each run in the game is time-limited and can be played in one of two modes: Relaxed or Hardcore, which primarily differ in the level of timing pressure applied to the player. Hell Clock features a three-act story campaign and an Endgame Ascension system. The game allows players to create different builds by combining various skill tree development paths with equipment and relics, each with its own status effects and skill trees.
The recommended system requirements for the game are Windows 10 as the operating system, an Intel Core i5 6500 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 CPU, 16 GB of RAM and an Nvidia RTX 3060 or AMD RX 6600 XT GPU with at least 6 GB of VRAM. The title uses DirectX version 11 and needs 2 GB of available storage space.
