- Abiotic Factor is coming out on PS Plus and Game Pass over a year since it was first released.
- The game has an “Overwhelmingly Positive” review score on Steam.
- Abiotic Factor is a co-op survival game for up to six players.
Abiotic Factor, a survival crafting game, is joining the PS Plus games catalog on July 22. The game is also joining Xbox Game Pass the same day, which is a little over a year since it was first released on May 3, 2024.
In Abiotic Factor, up to six players can play together as a team to apply science together for their survival. Players can choose their PHDs, which are essentially their classes, and build up their scientists to be able to survive the harsh world they were put in.
The game’s setting reaches into science fiction as giant robots have been seen in the game’s trailer attacking the players. The game’s description also says that as a scientist, combat isn’t your expertise, which suggests that players will have to be clever in fighting enemies by setting up traps around the area and leading opponents to them.
Abiotic Factor has an “Overwhelmingly Positive” review score on Steam and has a 24-hour player count of 2,369 players. Over a year ago, the game set its all-time peak of 21,753. With the game being available on console and Game Pass, the numbers are only expected to go higher as players try the game out.
