Warframe Reveals Details of Next Major Chapter, Newest Warframe at TennoCon 2025

TennoCon 2025 revealed information regarding Warframe’s next major chapter and the newest Warframe, Uriel. According to Digital Extremes, the developers of the game, the next chapter will be released later this year.

It will be titled The Old Peace and will have some sort of time travel as Tenno Operators hop between the past and the present. Additionally, players will be able to use the Warframe Excalibur Prime during some of the story sequences.

This Warframe is the first Prime in the game, and it cannot be obtained through normal gameplay. It was only awarded to those who bought the special Founders Package during the game’s infancy. To be able to get Excalibur Prime, players must have purchased the Hunter tier or above.

Digital Extremes also showed Uriel, the game’s next Warframe. However, they did not provide information regarding its abilities. All we know is that it was inspired by the devil, reflected by its infernal-like design.

Aside from these, Digital Extremes promised that there will be more Warframe content coming this year and next. The developers mentioned an unannounced Fall 2025 update that will feature a new Warframe, a rework for Oberon and many more. The developers mentioned that there will be more information regarding the update on Sept. 25.

In fall 2025, Digital Extremes will also hold an Android closed beta for Warframe’s mobile. Interested players can now pre-register and opt in for the beta.

The developers also showed excitement regarding the possibility of Warframe on the Nintendo Switch 2. However, they said that they’d need a development kit first for that to happen.

Soulframe also had time in the spotlight as Digital Extremes showcased a little bit of its gameplay. The developers mentioned that they want to bring Warframe’s extensive customization to the game. Digital Extremes has not mentioned a release date for the game yet.
