Factorio, a construction and management simulator, received an update to version 2.0.60 on July 15, 2025, with a patch mostly focused on general performance fixes.
The game got 88 bug fixes, 14 modding tweaks, one optimization improvement, and 37 scripting fixes, along with four gameplay and two graphic changes.
The game received remastered and remixed music among all the updates, along with a fix for the Game Mode on macOS 26.
Developed and published by Czech studio Wube Software, the game was released for Linux, macOS, and Windows PCs on August 14, 2020, became officially verified for the Steam Deck on February 25, 2022, and then ported to Nintendo Switch on October 28, 2022.
The main narrative of Factorio focuses on an engineer who crash-lands on an alien planet and must harvest resources and create an automated industry to build a rocket to get back home.
