The number of Roblox titles with over 50,000 concurrent players skyrocketed by 60% in the last six months, increasing from 15 to 24 games, according to David Taylor, founder and CEO of the Roblox analytics platform Creator Games.

According to Taylor, such rapid growth is connected to the booming success of Grow a Garden, a title that was launched in March 2025 and hit a record of 16.4 million concurrent players on June 14, 2025, which surpasses the combined all-time peaks of concurrent players for the top five titles on Steam, which are, at the time of writing, according to SteamDB: PUBG: Battlegrounds with 3,257,248 peak concurrent players; Black Myth: Wukong with 2,415,714; Palworld with 2,101,867; Counter-Strike 2 with 1,862,531; and Monster Hunter Wilds with 1,384,608, totaling 11,021,968.

Taylor declares in a post on his LinkedIn page that players from Grow a Garden are starting to explore other titles on Roblox, boosting the growth of Roblox‘s ecosystem.

The CEO of the Roblox analytics platform also mentioned that launched on May 16, 2025, Steal a Brainrot, a spinoff of Grow a Garden‘s spinoff Steal a Garden, is currently the second largest title on Roblox, with a peak of 3.2 million concurrent players.

As for the current most popular Roblox title, Grow a Garden, playable on all platforms where Roblox operates, including Android and iOS smartphones, PlayStation 4|5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, both macOS and Windows PCs, Meta Quest VR, as well as multiple PC VR headsets such as the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, it offers players all the core mechanics of virtual gardening, from planting seeds to growing crops and breeding different animals. One of the game’s major features, which became its slogan, is that the player’s garden “Grows Offline,” even when they are out of the game, motivating users to return and see what has evolved during their absence.

According to reports from Investor’s Business Daily and Barron’s, Grow a Garden has been partly credited with the recent rise in Roblox stock prices, including a 21% increase in June 2025.
