On July 2, 2025, Capcom published a press release discussing the future updates for Monster Hunter World, particularly the recent Title Update 2 patch. According to the developers, the Title Update 2 will have four parts that will last until Sept. 24, 2025, which will be followed by Title Update 3.
The first phase of the Title Update 2 was released on June 30. It added two new monsters: Seregios and Lagiacrus, the latter one being heavily requested by players since Mizutsune’s addition to the game.

The second phase will start with the addition of Festival of Accord: Flamefete on July 23. This event will overlap for a few days with the third phase of the update, which marks the addition of Arch-tempered Uth Duna. The monster will be added on July 30, 2025.
Finally, the last phase of Title Update 2 sees Monster Hunter Wilds collaborate with guitar makers Fender. The press release did not mention what kind of collaboration it will be, but the infographic has indicated that it will be a “Special Collaboration.”
The press release also confirmed that Monster Hunter Wilds’ next big update will happen in late September 2025. The developers did not reveal much information about the coming update, but confirmed that an additional monster is to be added, as well as a new seasonal event called Festival of Accord.
