Developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment, Diablo IV is now playable on PlayStation 4|5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S for members of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Xbox PC Game Pass, PlayStation Plus Essential, PlayStation Plus Extra, and PlayStation Plus Premium.
It is worth noting that, besides Xbox and PlayStation platforms, the fourth main installment in the Diablo series is also available for PC users via Battle.net and Steam.
Season 9 brings to Diablo IV a new seasonal questline, a Spellcrafting ability that allows players to create Horadric Spells, Horadric Strongrooms, and a new endgame challenge called Escalating Nightmares. Sins of the Horadrim also unlocks access to the Horadric Wayfinder, which highlights Horadric Strongrooms hidden within Nightmare Dungeons.
In its first five days after launch on June 5, 2023, Diablo IV earned $666 million, becoming Blizzard Entertainment’s fastest-selling title at that time. As of September 2024, the game has generated over $1 billion in revenue since its release, with this figure including approximately $150 million from in-game microtransactions.
