Overclocked Asus ROG Astral RTX 5090 Breaks 3DMark Port Royal World Record

Asus ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 Overclocked Edition GPU broke the record in the 3DMark Port Royal benchmark, achieving 47,375 points according to a statement on Asus UK’s official X (formerly Twitter) account on June 30, 2025.
The record was reached by extreme overclocker Allen Golibersuch, also known as Splave.

The previous record was held by OGS with the Galax GeForce RTX 5090D HOF OC LAB XOC, scoring 47,196 points.
Notably, both cards were used with liquid nitrogen for cooling and were overclocked on a platform powered by the Core i9-14900K(F) from Raptor Lake series.
According to the official product page, the Asus ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 Overclocked Edition, with 32 GB of VRAM and GDDR7 support, features a four-fan design. On top of that, this version of Nvidia‘s GPU supports PCI Express 5.0 as its bus standard and OpenGL 4.6.
It also has an engine clock of 2,610 MHz in overclocked mode and 2,580 MHz in default mode. It has 21,760 CUDA cores, a memory speed of 28 Gbps, and a 512-bit memory interface. Its maximum digital resolution supported is 7,680 by 4,320. The interface includes two native HDMI 2.1b ports and three native DisplayPort 2.1b ports, with HDCP 2.3 support. It can support up to four displays but doesn’t support NVLink or Crossfire. The card measures 357.6 by 149.3 by 76 mm (14.1 by 5.9 by 3 inches) and requires a recommended power supply unit of 1000W. It uses one 16-pin power connector and occupies 3.8 slots.
