The game allows players to assume control of a youngster named Sable as she embarks on a rite-of-passage journey to find the mask that will allow her to return to her nomadic clan and enter adulthood.
Non-linear, Sable is set on the ruined desert planet of Midden, filled with several characters that help the lead character find her place in the world while giving her some tasks that involve solving puzzles and platforming elements.
