The last college basketball game was released by EA Sports in 2009, and was named NCAA Basketball 10. According to Video Games Chronicle, EA has not released any basketball games for the past seven years; the publisher used to release annual games, from the original NBA Live 95 to NBA Live 10

The NCAA March Madness Series ran from 1998 to 2007, and the NCAA Basketball Series went from 2008 to 2009. The latest NCAA Basketball video game sold a reported number of 155,000 copies, according to Maryland Sports blog.
