Endless Legend 2 Reveals New Faction Ahead of Early Access Launch

A new faction, the Last Lords, was officially revealed for the 4X turn-based strategy Endless Legend 2 on June 26, 2025.
As was revealed during the Last Lords Faction Spotlight showcase, the Last Lords are haunted suits of armor that need no ordinary sustenance and feed on Dust. Still trying to live by their chivalric ideals and enamored with land and titles, the Last Lords do their utmost to reframe their depravities as their natural rights.
Besides The Last Lords in early access, the game will feature three more factions, including the Kin of Sheredyn, the Aspects, and the Necrophages, while the full title will feature a roster of six factions.
The upcoming sequel to 2014’s Endless Legend, developed by Amplitude Studios and published by Hooded Horse, will be released through early access on Windows PC on August 7, 2025.
The game will feature nine victory conditions: score victory, military domination victory, and seven types of narrative victories. Endless Legend 2 is set in an oceanic world named Saiadha, affected by a natural phenomenon called Tidefalls, in which ocean levels recede, opening up new areas for players to explore. Unlike its predecessor, Endless Legend 2 features a combat system that requires more involvement from the player because of the need to issue commands to units and position them manually.
