Rematch Reaches 1M Players Across All Platforms

|
- Rematch has reached 1 million players across all platforms.
- The game still has no crossplay, which is a coveted feature in multiplayer games.
- Rematch is available on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Multiplayer football game Rematch has reached 1 million players across all platforms it was released on. The developers published a post on X to commemorate the achievement, thanking the players for playing the game.
According to the developers, the game reached the million-player milestone in just a day after release. They also added that they are “working hard on fixes and improvements.” The game currently has an all-time peak concurrent player count of 92,841 on Steam.
While the game has 1 million unique players enjoying the game, one of Rematch’s biggest problems is that it doesn’t have crossplay. This means that players will remain playing only with those on the same platform. This has led to a few people claiming to have canceled their pre-orders, but the developers have said that they are working on it.
Rematch was released on July 19, 2025, and almost reached a 100,000 peak concurrent players on Steam. It is developed by Sloclap, the team behind Sifu. It’s a multiplayer football game where players have to cooperate to score goals. It currently has a “Mostly Positive” score on Steam. The game is available on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
