Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas has almost reached 50 million downloads, according to estimates pulled by Mobilegamer.biz via Appmagic.

As of June 19, 2025, the fifth main game in the GTA series and the seventh entry overall, which was initially released on Oct. 26, 2004, has seen 48.3 million downloads via Netflix, which allows playing games on iOS and Android devices.

Notably, GTA: San Andreas reached these numbers in just one and a half years since it joined Netflix’s game catalog on Dec. 14, 2023, as part of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, along with Grand Theft Auto III and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.

According to the same estimates from Mobilegamer.biz via Appmagic, total lifetime Netflix game downloads, which have been tracked since August 2021, have reached over 342.5 million.

On the list of most downloaded games on Netflix, GTA: San Andreas is followed by Squid Game: Unleashed with 20.7 million downloads, Storyteller with 19.4 million, Bloons TD 6 with 13.3 million and Football Manager ’24 Mobile with 12.7 million.
