- After being delayed twice, Date Everything is finally out.
- The game is a sandbox dating simulator where players are able to date just about everything in it.
- Date Everything is available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.
The sandbox dating simulator game Date Everything is finally out after experiencing several delays. First slated for an October 2024 release, the game was delayed to Valentine’s Day this year, then another time, before finally being released on June 17, 2025.
According to the game’s Steam description, players are able to date up to 100 fully voiced characters. Not just that, the voice actors in the game are also star-studded, with people such as Ray Chase (Final Fantasy XV’s Noctis Lucis Caelum), Ben Starr (Final Fantasy XVI’s Clive, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33’s Verso) and Cherami Leigh (Persona 5’s Makoto Niijima) just being three of the 100 other voice actors in the game.
Aside from that, Date Everything’s main selling point is being a sandbox dating simulation game that allows players to date quite literally anything in the game. Its X account even has a post promoting the game’s textbox as a dating candidate, which is voiced by Suzie Yeung (Final Fantasy VII Rebirth’s Yuffie Kisaragi).
Date Everything was initially slated for an October 2024 release, but it was delayed to Feb. 14. However, the delay wasn’t enough to be able to make sure everything was working correctly in the game, which led to its second delay to June 17.
The game is available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. As of the writing of this article, the game has an all-time high of 14,231 concurrent players on Steam.
