- Ketsu Battler has been found to have a bug when run on the Switch 2.
- The bars at the bottom of the screen fill up much faster than the original Switch version of the game.
- The developers concluded that the Switch 2’s advanced hardware is the main cause of the issue.
The Nintendo Switch game Ketsu Battler has an amusing bug when played on the Switch 2. According to a speedrunner by the name of Koh-So, the game seems to be even faster than on the regular Switch.
For context, Ketsu Battler’s literal translation is “Butt Battler,” and its gameplay is as funny as it sounds. Players have to remove a Joy-Con from the Switch and put it on their pants or underwear, specifically near their butts. They will then shake their butts to attack the opposing character with their swords in the game.
Players who shake their butt even faster will fill up the bar at the bottom of the screen and be able to unleash a special attack. This is where Koh-So realized that the game had a bug in it, as the bar fills up at a faster rate compared to the original Switch. He mentioned that he tried the same version on the original Switch and confirmed that this only happens on the Switch 2.
The developers of the game investigated the issue and concluded that the Switch 2’s advanced hardware is the cause of the issue. Since the console is still new, the developers mentioned that it might take a long time for the bug to be fixed. So, they urged players to enjoy the extreme version of Ketsu Battler while they work on the patch.
