Fortnite Leak Reveals New Squid Game-Themed Map

- Fortnite has teased its collaboration with Squid Game earlier this month.
A Squid Game-themed map has been leaked by an X user named BeastFNCreative. They’re a dataminer who’s well-trusted in the community, and according to them, the maps are going to be used in the Reload game mode.
Reload maps have smaller sizes compared to battle royale maps. In addition to that, there will only be a maximum of 40 players per map. A respawn system is also in place in this game mode, allowing players to keep on “rebooting” as long as other teammates in their squad are still alive.
BeastFNCreative has marked the leaks as “Creative / UEFN Leak,” alluding to the fact that there are some assets here that can be used in the Creative mode. The user has posted “prefabs” or pre-designed objects that players can readily use in their islands.
Earlier this month, Epic Games confirmed that Fortnite will be collaborating with Squid Game. Skins for the collaboration have already been teased, and skins for contestant 067 and masked soldier are also allegedly going to be included.
Aside from this, there’s not much known about the collaboration. Fortnite still has not released information about when it’s going to happen, and what sort of events players should expect from it.
