Fortnite Hotfix Update Nerfs Bass Boost Gloves and Adjusts Outlaw Shotgun

|
- Fortnite implemented a hotfix update for the Super Hero season for the Battle Royale game mode.
- The hotfix balances Bass Boost, Outlaw Shotgun, and Spires.
-
Bass Boost was nerfed, dealing far less damage, and Outlaw Shotgun was buffed.
Fortnite’s hotfix update targets balancing for the Super Hero Battle Royale. The hotfix nerfed Bass Boost, one of the most versatile mobility options currently in the game, while buffing Outlaw Shotgun – a gun that previously lacked damage to warrant a pickup. Spires, pillar-like boss fights, saw some balancing as well; their health has decreased in solo.
Here are the exact patch notes, according to dataminer iFireMonkey on Twitter:
Outlaw Shotgun (common rarity)
- Min Hits Per Cartridge: 4 -> 6
- Damage (Close): 8 -> 8.6
- Damage (Mid Range): 6.8 -> 7.31
- Damage (Long Range): 4.0 -> 4.3
- Max Range: 2,400 -> 2,900
Bass Boost
- Environment Damage: 2,000 -> 245
- Bass Energy Length: 5 Seconds -> 4 Seconds Structure
- Blast Radius: 280 -> 150
The battle royal is currently celebrating its DC Super Hero season. As part of the current season, a new Robin skin alongside other cosmetics were added to the game. Fortnite’s next update for the Super Hero season received a delay of one day. The v36.10 update is now scheduled to release on Wednesday, June 18. Supernova Academy Quests and Week 2 Weekly Quests arrive on this date.
