SAG-AFTRA has officially suspended the video game strikes at noon PST on June 11, 2025. All SAG-AFTRA members were told to return to work on their respective productions under the Interactive Media Agreement (IMA).
The decision to suspend the strikes came after the announcement of a tentative agreement. According to the official SAG-AFTRA website after the two respective parties, SAG-AFTRA and video game companies such as Activision, Blindlight, Disney, Electronic Arts, Epic Games, Formosa Interactive, Insomniac, Take Two, and WB Games, have reached an accord for the Interactive Media Contract.

The SAG-AFTRA National Board is meeting again tomorrow to analyze and consider the tentative agreement. If the tentative agreement is approved, it will be sent to the union’s membership in accordance with established policy.
