The initial title in the series of Warhammer 40k: Space Marine follows the story of a command squad of three Ultramarines — Captain Demetrian Titus, Veteran Sergeant Sidonus and Tactical Marine Leandros — on Forge World Graia, a planet devoted to producing weaponry for the Imperium of Man, which has been invaded by an Ork WAAAGH! led by Warboss Grimskull.

The original base game had sold over 2 million copies across all platforms (PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3) by 2020.

Warhammer 40k: Space Marine has a sequel titled Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, and the third installment is already in development, as reported by Gaming.News earlier this year.
