|
- Fate/Grand Order has increased the demand for Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy across Japan.
- This led to the book being sold out at Kawade Shobo Shinsha, one of Japan’s major book publishers.
- Fate/Grand Order has one of the lowest gacha rates in the market.
Fate/Grand Order has become responsible for Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy selling out at Kawade Shobo Shinsha, one of Japan’s major book publishers. The publisher posted on X, recognizing the shortage of one of the greatest works of Western literature.
Interestingly, Kawade Shobo Shinsha is also aware of exactly why the book is now out of stock. The publisher’s X post said that it is now urgently reprinting Dante’s Divine Comedy: The Complete Edition due to the demand Fate/Grand Order has generated for the book. Sales have risen 130% compared to last year, even though the book costs 5,900 Japanese yen.
Fate/Grand Order is a mobile gacha game originating from Japan. The story of the game involves servants who are historical or mythical figures. Leonardo Da Vinci, Dante Alighieri and King Arthur from Arthurian legends are just a few of the servants who are playable in the game.
A global version of the game was released in 2017, allowing people from North America and Europe to enjoy the game. As of 2023, Fate/Grand Order’s revenue has reached $7 billion.
Fate/Grand Order is generally considered one of the most predatory gacha games due to the low probability of obtaining the desired character. Fate/Grand Order is available on iOS and Android.
