Hitman: World of Assassination to Launch on Apple Devices, Including iOS Version

Hitman: World of Assassination is officially coming to iPhone, iPad, and Mac in summer 2025. The announcement was made on IOI Showcase 2025.
The game sold over 25 million copies globally and features about 80 million logged player accounts (including free starter pack users), as confirmed by IO Interactive during the showcase livestream on June 7, 2025.
Developed and published by IO Interactive, Hitman: World of Assassination was released for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Google Stadia, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on January 20, 2021, as Hitman 3.
In January 2023, the developer rebranded the title as Hitman: World of Assassination, with the contents of the previous two Hitman games becoming available to Hitman 3 owners for free, along with a new roguelike Freelancer mode, which is set after the epilogue of Hitman 3. On June 5, 2025, the game was released for Nintendo Switch 2.
As of the time of writing, Hitman: World of Assassination featured a ‘Very Positive’ rating on Steam with 39,999 reviews and a peak of 10,925 concurrent players, according to SteamDB.
In addition to the game’s arrival on iOS, iPadOS, and macOS platforms, IO Interactive also revealed that a co-op mode is currently in the works.
At Summer Game Fest 2025 on June 6, IO Interactive presented the Mindseye Crossover Location and the Casino Royale Mission.
