Silent Hill f Slated for Release in September 2025

Silent Hill f finally has a release date thanks to Sony’s State of Play, and it’s releasing this year. According to the showcase, Silent Hill f is slated to release on Sept. 25, 2025, for the PlayStation 5, PC and Xbox Series X|S.
PlayStation’s press release about the game said that Silent Hill f is going to be set in 1960s Japan and will have “unique combat.” According to the press release, the game is going to be focused on melee and be more action-oriented compared to Silent Hill 2.
The story is written by Ryukishi07, the creative mind behind the psychological horror When They Cry visual novel franchise. The press release also mentioned that the mission statement, as the team developed the game, was “Find the beauty in terror,” and this reflects on how the game can look eerily beautiful at times.
Silent Hill f is available for pre-order now. Those who do so will receive additional items upon release, with the Deluxe edition receiving a digital artbook, digital soundtrack, a pink rabbit costume, a white sailor school uniform, Omamori: Peony, an item pack and 48-hour early access.
