PlayStation Plus Classics Catalog Will Add Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis This Summer

Sony’s June 4 State of Play revealed that Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis are being added to the PlayStation Plus Classics Catalog this summer. Additionally, a number of games are also being added to PlayStation’s subscription offering.
To clarify, the versions of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis that are being added to the classics catalog are going to be the original PlayStation ones released in 1998 and 1999, respectively. Sony did not clarify when they will be added, the company only mentioned that it will happen this summer.

The PlayStation 2 version of Deus Ex will join the Game Catalog on June 17, while Twisted Metal 3 and Twisted Metal 4 will be added to the PlayStation Plus Premium Classics Catalog on July 15. Finally, both Sword of the Sea and FBC: Firebreak are going to be added to the Game Catalog on August 19 and June 17, respectively.
PlayStation Plus is offered in three different tiers: Essential, Extra, and Premium. The Essential plan costs $10 per month, the Extra costs $15 per month, and the Premium costs $18 per month. Each tier has its benefits, with the Premium tier giving the user access to the Game Catalog and the Classics Catalog.
