- Sea of Remnants will be released in 2026 for the PC, PlayStation 5 and mobile.
The ocean adventure RPG Sea of Remnants was announced during the June 4 Sony State of Play, and it’s Joker Studio’s take on pirates and naval adventures. The game’s trailer showed a variety of activities that players can do, but it all focuses on being around bodies of water and exploration.
The characters in the game also have a pretty unique art style, with everyone looking like mannequins. A PlayStation press release regarding the game describes it as “an infinite voyage looping between death and rebirth—a journey where we row forward, tirelessly, only to return to where it all began.”
Players in the game are put in the shoes of an amnesiac sailor who adventures with a mysterious girl. The game features naval battles that have a little bit of a bullet hell look to them, as seen when a crab attacks the ship the player is on. Additionally, turn-based combat is also present in the game.
Sea of Remnants is slated to be released in 2026 for the PC, PlayStation 5 and mobile. The studio behind the game, Joker Studio, also created Identity V. Similar to that game, Sea of Remnants is also free-to-play. Fans can already wishlist the game on Steam.
