MSI has launched two single-fan budget GPUs: the GeForce RTX 5060 8 GB Cyclone OC and the GeForce RTX 5060 8 GB Inspire ITX.

Notably, the last time MSI released a Cyclone-branded GPU before 2025 was around 2010–2011, during the GeForce GTX 400 and 500 series era. Meanwhile, the Inspire ITX comes as a compact GPU, measuring just 145 mm in length and 120 mm in height.

MSI GeForce RTX 5060 8 GB Cyclone OC comes with a branded white fan and parts colored in winter camouflage. Despite modern high thermal performance requirements, MSI states that the new Cyclone is able to offer high-efficiency cooling.

This GPU, with a length of 161 mm and a height of 125 mm, is powered by Nvidia’s Blackwell architecture and supports DLSS 4. It features a core clock of 2535 MHz in extreme performance mode via MSI Center and a boost clock of 2527 MHz. The card weighs 451 grams, consumes 145 watts of power, and requires a single 8-pin power connector, with MSI recommending a 550-watt PSU for optimal operation. As for display output, the card includes three DisplayPort 2.1b ports and one HDMI 2.1b port, supporting resolutions up to 4K at 480Hz or 8K at 120Hz with DSC, along with Gaming VRR and HDR. The GeForce RTX 5060 8 GB Cyclone OC features 3840 CUDA cores, runs memory at 28 GBps, and comes equipped with 8GB of GDDR7 memory across a 128-bit bus.

GeForce RTX 5060 8 GB Inspire ITX by MSI also supports Nvidia’s DLSS 4 and is powered by the Blackwell architecture. It features a core clock of 2512 MHz in extreme performance mode through MSI Center and a boost clock of 2497 MHz. With 3840 CUDA cores and a memory speed of 28 GBps, it includes 8GB of GDDR7 memory across a 128-bit bus.

This card offers three DisplayPort 2.1b outputs and one HDMI 2.1b port, capable of handling resolutions up to 4K at 480Hz or 8K at 120Hz with DSC. The GeForce RTX 5060 8 GB Inspire ITX has a power consumption of 145 watts and features a single 8-pin connector on board. It is worth noting that MSI recommends a 550W power supply for the card’s stable performance. The card’s physical dimensions are 145 x 120 x 45 mm, and it weighs 581 grams. It supports DirectX 12 Ultimate and OpenGL 4.6, can handle up to four displays, and its maximum digital resolution is 7680 x 4320.
