Elden Ring Nightreign Patch 1.01.1 Lowers Solo Mode Difficulty

As for general balance adjustments, the number of high-rarity relics rewarded upon reaching day 3 during expeditions has been increased.
Patch 1.01.1 for Elden Ring Nightreign was officially released by the game’s developer, FromSoftware, and publisher, Bandai Namco Entertainment.
Update 1.01.1 is available now across all the platforms the game was released on, including PC, PlayStation 4|5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
The patch adds the effect titled “Automatic Revival Upon Defeat” to solo expeditions, providing revival once per night boss battle. On top of that, the amount of runes gained for solo expeditions is increased with the update.
As for general balance adjustments, the number of high-rarity relics rewarded upon reaching day 3 during expeditions has been increased. Additionally, the likelihood of acquiring high-rarity relics from Scenic Flat stones bought at the Small Jar Bazaar has also been raised.
On top of that, the game received multiple bug fixes:
- A bug affecting camera behavior when activating the Guardian’s Ultimate Art, “Wings of Salvation,” was fixed.
- An issue in the Duchess’s Character Skill “Restage” that prevented Status Ailments from triggering when built up from other players’ attacks was fixed.
- A bug where some attacks by Raider using Greataxe and Great Hammer weapon types dealt higher damage than intended was fixed.
- A flaw where some “Those Who Live in Death” enemies would revive after being defeated with the “Sacred Blade” skill was fixed.
- A bug where the “Bleeding” Status Ailment would not build up when the Skill “Bloody Slash” hit an enemy was fixed.
- A problem where the “Ghostflame Ignition” attack would not occur under certain circumstances was fixed.
- A bug where the status ailment “Frostbite” would not build up when the light wave from a strong attack hit an enemy while the “Moonlight Greatsword” skill was active was fixed.
- A bug where arrows fired with the “Mighty Shot” and “Enchanted Shot” skills traveled slower than expected was fixed.
- An error where the attack range of the magic spell “Rock Sling” was longer than expected when used with a staff equipped in the left hand was fixed.
- A bug where the effect that reduces the maximum HP of enemies when the incantation “Black Blade” hit them was not activated was fixed.
- A glitch where the Passive Effect “Successive Attacks Negate Damage” stacked improperly when successive attacks were made while the effect was active was fixed.
- A bug where some Passive Effects did not display their correct effect values was fixed.
- A bug where the Relic Special Effect “[Guardian] Become the target of enemy aggression when ability is activated” did not activate under certain situations was fixed.
- An issue where certain effects were not applied to Relics obtained from Expedition Rewards or purchased from the Small Jar Bazaar was fixed.
- A bug where items obtainable upon completing a Remembrance in the Remembrance world could not be obtained when changing characters and concluding a Remembrance was fixed.
- Defects in the behavior and specifications of certain attacks and actions of specific enemies were fixed.
- A bug that caused the game to become unstable under certain conditions during battles with specific enemies was fixed.
- A bug in graphics rendering during battles with specific enemies was fixed.
- Incorrect information in the staff credits was fixed.
- Some text errors were fixed.
- A bug where some sound effects did not play correctly was fixed.
- A flaw where the “Exit Remembrance” effect was not displayed during a “Wylder” Remembrance on some platforms was fixed.
- A bug where the HUD was not displayed on some platforms was fixed.
- An issue causing the game to crash under certain circumstances on some platforms was fixed.
- A bug where Expeditions and reconnecting to sessions failed under certain circumstances on some platforms was fixed.
- A problem where background music would not play properly under certain circumstances on some platforms was fixed.
The cooperative spinoff of the famed Elden Ring, directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki with worldbuilding by George R. R. Martin, author of A Song of Ice and Fire, was first revealed at The Game Awards 2024 and released on May 29, 2025, selling 2 million units within its first 24 hours.
