Sony Launches Days of Play 2025 With First-Ever PS5 Pro Discount, New PS Plus Content

Sony has officially kicked off its annual Days of Play event, confirming a wide slate of discounts and content offerings from May 28 to June 11. For the first time, the PlayStation 5 Pro is receiving a $50 price cut, with broader deals on consoles, accessories and subscriptions available globally. The announcement fully confirms details from a leak reported yesterday.

In the US, Sony is offering the PS5 + Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 bundle starting at $399.99, a discount of up to $119.99 from the combined price. PS5 Pro pricing drops to $549.99. In Europe and Asia, the standard PS5 will retail for €449.99, the Digital Edition for €399.99, and the PS5 Pro for €749.99. Additional deals include $50 off PS VR2 and its Horizon bundle and up to $30 off accessories such as the DualSense Edge controller and Pulse Explore earbuds.

PlayStation Plus members also receive new perks during the event. June’s Monthly Games include NBA 2K25, Alone in the Dark (2024), Bomb Rush Cyberfunk and Destiny 2: The Final Shape. Bonus Game Catalog titles include Another Crab’s Treasure, Skull and Bones and GTA III, with Kingdom Come: Deliverance II and Civilization VII available as game trials. PS Plus Premium/Deluxe members also gain access to classics Myst and Riven on June 5.

Sony is offering up to 33% off 12-month PlayStation Plus memberships and discounted upgrades for existing Essential and Extra members. On the digital side, PlayStation Store is running a large sale across hundreds of games and add-ons, while Sony Pictures Core is offering 10% off movies storewide and limited-time flash sales for PS Plus subscribers.
