NBA 2K25 and 11 Other Titles Join PlayStation Plus Catalog

PlayStation Plus members can claim four free monthly titles, with an additional four available for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers. NBA 2K25 is included with the base subscription; the title is a 2024 basketball video game developed by Visual Concept and published by 2K.

Higher subscription tiers have a couple more games available to them, such as Grand Theft Auto III and Destiny 2: The Legacy Collection. The categories for the upcoming free game are as such:

• Game Catalog (Extra, Premium/Deluxe)
• Classic Catalog (Premium/Deluxe)
• Game Trials (Premium/Deluxe)

The categories are mutually inclusive, so higher tiers are granted all the benefits of those below. Here are all four games joining PlayStation Plus monthly games:

NBA 2K25 | PS5, PS4 (June 3)

PlayStation Plus is Sony’s online subscription service, which includes monthly free titles that can be downloaded and played as long as the user continues their PlayStation Plus subscription. The cheapest membership on PlayStation Plus costs $9.99 a month.

Sony recently launched Days of Play, an event that offers discounts from May 28 to June 1. The PlayStation 5 Pro is, for the first time, receiving a price cut of $50.
