Capcom is creating a new development center nearby its headquarters in Osaka, Japan – the building is scheduled to finish in 2027. The company also announced their intent to hire 100 annual employees as a part of their intent to strengthen its development structure, according to Capcom’s financial presentation. This aligns with Capcom’s goal of “further investment in human capital to enhance sustainable corporate value.”

In the report, Capcom shared that they opened five arcade operations, which includes Capsule Lab Kobe Nankin-Machi. The company plans to open ten new stores in 2026, totalling 63 stores with diverse store formats. The presentation also shared their market view, which is set to break $198 billion by 2027. Their estimated target user base is 1.5 billion PC and console users, with significant growth potential including emerging markets. 

“Capcom has been on a pretty incredible hot streak since 2017,” wcftech wrote. Capcom published Monster Hunter Wilds, which is currently the most sold title of 2025 thus far. The game sold 8 million copies in three days, and hit the 10 million milestone within the first month of release.
