Development studio Shift Up confirmed that Stellar Blade will be receiving a sequel before the end of 2027 – as according to IGN, who sources a financial chart published by the company.
Prior to the arrival of the sequel, a platform expansion for Stellar Blade is planned; IGN speculates that this is in reference to the upcoming PC version, which has a June 11, 2025 release date.
According to SteamDB, it appears Stellar Blade has been restricted in 129 countries ahead of its launch on PC; this includes the Philippines, Belarus, Egypt, Georgia, Kazakhstan and Lithuania. Notably, most of the countries on the list are locations where Sony’s PSN is unavailable.

An additional project was teased ever so slightly in the infographic: Project Witches. This is slated to be a multiplatform action RPG; little information for the title is readily available. Project Witches appears to have a 2026 or 2027 release schedule.
Stellar Blade was released back in 2024 for the PlayStation 5. It is Shift Up’s first AAA title and was developed with Sony Interactive Entertainment. As of June 2024, Shift Up announced that Stellar Blade had sold over 1 million copies worldwide within two months of its release on April 26, 2024.
The game has since been bolstered by regular updates, including crossover DLC with Nier: Automata, holiday-themed content and new gameplay modes that are all promised by the developer to be included in the PC version.
