Jade Raymond, founder of Haven Interactive Studios, has departed the company, according to Bloomberg. The report says the exact reason for her departure remains unknown, but anonymous developers working on the studio’s first project, Fairgames, claim the news came several weeks after an external test of Haven’s upcoming first-person shooter.
The sources provided a statement of gratitude toward Raymond’s leadership at the studio:
“Jade Raymond has been an incredible partner and visionary force in founding Haven Studios. We are deeply grateful for her leadership and contributions, and we wish her all the best in her next chapter.”
Fairgames was planned to launch in fall 2025 but was delayed to spring of 2026. Many other live-service PlayStation titles under other development studios have been axed—the original list included more than a dozen titles.
Raymond founded Haven in 2021 and had previously worked at Ubisoft, EA and Stadia. As of publication time, she has not provided any public updates regarding the situation.
Haven was acquired by Sony Interactive Entertainment in 2022. The studio has yet to release its first game. Fairgames is marketed as Haven Interactive’s first release.
