The Sinking City Remastered has landed on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, free for owners of the original game that was released on June 27, 2019.
The game has been fully relit using Unreal Engine 5, bringing a visual upgrade. Locations are enhanced with added levels of detail and more in-world objects. On top of that, The Sinking City Remastered features 4K textures and improved reflections. A Photo Mode is also included. Besides that, the game supports upscaling technologies such as DLSS, FSR, and TSR. Additionally, there are various gameplay adjustments in the remaster, including certain accessibility features and other improvements.
Released in 2019, The Sinking City originally followed Charles Reed, a private investigator who is searching for the source of his disturbing visions in the fog-filled city of Oakmont, Massachusetts. The game blends classic detective work with supernatural horror, madness and mystery inspired by H.P. Lovecraft’s works.
