Shift Up released its financial report for this year’s first quarter, which revealed that both Stellar Blade and Goddess of Victory: Nikke continue to provide the studio with positive returns. The studio’s net profit just for the quarter reached 26 billion KRW, or roughly 18 million USD.
Nikke stayed as the largest contributor to Shift Up’s revenue, making up 76.5% of it. Stellar Blade followed, with a measly 16.6% contribution, which is even smaller than the previous quarter’s 30%.
However, Stellar Blade’s contribution has a chance to grow even bigger as the game is scheduled to be released for the PC in June 2025. PlayStation uploaded a now-deleted trailer of the game, revealing the release date to be June 11.
Shift Up’s Project Witches is also steadily being developed, according to the studio. It currently has a launch target for 2027, but starting second quarter of this year, the studio will start talking about the game externally. This means that they might start teasing the game as early as this month.
In April 2025, Forbes reported that the CEO of Shift Up, Kim Hyung-tae, had joined Korea’s Top 50 Wealthiest people. He debuted in 46th place and has a net worth of $725 million.
