Nvidia Releases New GeForce Driver for Doom: The Dark Ages Three Days Before Game’s Launch

Nvidia released a new GeForce driver (Game Ready version 576.40) for Doom: The Dark Ages three days prior game’s launch on May 15, 2025. Notably, the game will be available in early access starting May 13 for owners of the game’s Premium Edition.
This GeForce Game Ready Driver optimizes the user’s GeForce PC or laptop for DOOM: The Dark Ages, supporting features such as DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation, DLSS Frame Generation, DLSS Super Resolution, Nvidia Reflex, and Ray Tracing.
The driver also supports 15 new and updated Nvidia app DLSS overrides, seven new G-SYNC Compatible gaming displays, and two new Optimal Playable Settings profiles.
On top of that driver brings fixed such gaming bugs as random stability issues in Monster Hunter Wilds and the RTX 50 series experienced shadow flicker in Dead Space Remake. As for fixed general bugs, Nvidia presente a list in the official driver changelog.
Besides that, with today’s GeForce driver, Nvidia also whitelisted DLSS overrides in the Nvidia app for the following PC games:
