- Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition has been announced for the PlayStation and PC.
- The game was originally released as a VR-only game in December 2024 for the PC and PlayStation 5.
- The Evolved Edition is the game’s non-VR version and will be available on Sept. 30.
The VR-only game, Alien: Rogue Incursion, is receiving a non-VR version for the PC and PlayStation 5, according to the game’s developer, Survios. On May 9, the team uploaded an announcement trailer on YouTube showcasing the version, which is called Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition.
According to the video description, Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition has been “reinvisioned for the PS5 & PC in full HD at 60fps.” It also dropped the release date, which is on Sept. 30.
Fans are now able to wishlist the game on Steam and PlayStation 5. Interestingly, the game’s Steam page mentions that the game is only the first part of the story. It even says that the player will be thrust into a cliffhanger despite calling it a “complete story.” The developers did not mention when the second part of the story will be released.
Alien: Rogue Incursion has been available on the PlayStation 5 and the PC since December 2024; however, players need a VR headset like the PS VR2 or an Oculus to play it. A Meta Quest 3 version was released earlier this year. The game received “Generally Favorable” reviews for its PC version, according to Metacritic.
