PlayStation recently released PlayStation 5’s April 2025 chart toppers, and the top three games that month were all Xbox games. In February 2025, Microsoft announced that it had stopped trying to convert other players to Xbox and prioritized letting players enjoy their games on whatever platform they wanted.
Microsoft’s strategy seems to be working, as The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, Minecraft and Forza Horizon 5 dominated PlayStation 5’s April 2025 US/Canada and Europe sales.
