- Overwatch 2’s current season introduced the Stadium game mode.
Overwatch 2’s collaboration with Street Fighter 6 might have been leaked by the folks at PlayStation. Reddit users over at r/GamingLeaksAndRumors provided screenshots and an archived version of the PlayStation website outwardly talking about the collaboration.
“Keep battling in Stadium with a Street Fighter 6 collaboration and Dokiwatch Mythic Mercy Weapon Skin,” the website reads. Additionally, it’s also under a heading that says “Mid-season magic is alive,” which implies that the collaboration might be included in the mid-season update this month.
Another thing that gives weight to the collaboration leak, aside from it being literally on the PlayStation website, is the mention of the Dokiwatch Mythic Mercy Weapon Skin. It’s something mentioned recently by the developers as they announced a new line of skins called Dokiwatch.
Overwatch 2’s latest collaboration is with the mecha anime Gundam Wing. The event spans from April 29 through May 12, and the heroes who received the collaboration skins are Mercy, Reaper, Ramattra and Soldier: 76.
Last month, Overwatch 2 entered its 16th season and introduced a new game mode called Stadium. In it, two teams of five players each fight against each other in a best-of-seven match. Items and Powers can be bought before each round to enhance hero abilities. This game mode is also the first one to utilize a third-person perspective.
