AMD is launching its new Radeon RX 9060 XT graphics cards at Computex 2025, with leaked retail listings confirming two SKUs: 8GB and 16GB variants. According to WCCTech, the new GPUs are positioned to directly compete with NVIDIA’s RTX 5060 Ti, both in specs and pricing.
Retail listings, surfaced by leaker @momomo_us, show that the 8GB model will be limited to entry-tier options like the ASUS Dual, while the 16GB version will receive broader support through premium lines like TUF and PRIME.
The RX 9060 XT is based on the Navi 44 chip, built on a 128-bit memory interface and equipped with 2,048 stream processors. Clock speeds are listed at 2620 MHz (game) and up to 3230 MHz (boost).
Pricing is expected to undercut the RTX 5060 Ti, particularly with the 16GB variant targeting a sub-$429 launch. Retail availability is slated for June following the Computex reveal.
AMD gained ground on Nvidia in the desktop GPU market during Q4 2024, shipping 1.43 million Radeon units and reclaiming roughly 7% market share as Nvidia lost 8% amid production constraints and a pivot to data center chips.
